Google CEO Sundar Pichai
India’s third-highest civilian award “Padma Bhushan” was awarded to Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai for 2022 in the Trade and Industry category on Friday from India’s Ambassador to the US Taranjit Singh Sindhu. Singh handed over the award to Pichai and said that his “inspirational journey reaffirms Indian talent’s contribution to global innovation” His journey from Madurai to CEO of Google was inspirational to all the Indian youths, and strengthened economic and tech ties
India is always a part of me I carry India wherever I go, Google CEO Sundar Pichai said.
“I look forward to proceeding with the great partnership between Google and India, as we work jointly to bring the benefits of technology to more people,” Pichai added.
