Kabzaa Box Office Collection report
The Kannada drama film Kabzaa, directed by R Chandru and starring Upendra and Kichcha Sudeep, has failed to meet expectations at the box office. The movie opened to a lackluster response and witnessed a decline in collections over the weekend. On the first Monday, the film’s box office collection plummeted drastically.

Kabzaa’s earnings on Monday were around Rs 3 crore (early estimates), taking the movie’s total collection to Rs 24.45 crore. The film recorded an occupancy rate of 22.60% in the Kannada speaking market. However, there have been reports that the film’s collections are being misreported. The film’s producer, Anand Pandit, shared a poster of the movie’s day-one collection, stating that the film’s worldwide gross box office collection is Rs 26 crore. However, Koimoi.com reported that the number was lower and didn’t even touch the Rs 15 crore mark

Kabzaa faced stiff competition from other movies in the Hindi speaking belt, such as Rani Mukerji’s Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway, Kapil Sharma’s Zwigato, and Ranbir Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The film received unfavorable reviews from critics.

Critics have also given the film a negative response, with indianexpress.com’s Kirubhakar Purushothaman giving it a one-star rating and describing it as a “tiring affair that’s devoid of emotions.” Many in the audience have also pointed out the similarities between Kabzaa and Yash’s KGF, but Upendra has dismissed these comparisons and requested fans to judge each film on its own merits
Despite the criticism, lead star Upendra dismissed the similarities and urged fans not to compare the two films. “Every project has its own merits. Honestly, I want to request people not to compare the two films; it’s not fair,” he told indianexpress before the film’s release.
