Esther Anil, an Indian actress, mainly appears in Malayalam-language movies. She made her professional debut as a young artist in 2010 with the movie Nallavan.
Her most well-known roles were Oolu in the 2020 fantasy film Oolu and Anumol George (Anu) in the drama-thriller movies Drishyam and Drishyam 2 from 2013. Esther received the Best Child Artist Award from the Kerala Film Critics Association in 2016. In the 2015 remakes of Drishyam (Telugu) and Papanasam (Tamil), she played the same character again. In the unreleased Tamil movie Kuzhali, she portrayed the lead role. In the Telugu movie Johar, which included debutantes, she portrayed the main character.
For many years, Esther Anil performed as a kid performer in Malayalam movies. She gained the most notoriety in 2013 for her part as the small child portraying Mohanlal and Meena’s younger daughter in the wildly popular movie Drishyam. She then reprised her part in the Tamil and Telugu versions of the movie, playing Venkatesh’s and Kamal Haasan’s daughters, respectively.
